10 Tips to getting back on track after the summer holidays
  1. Be kind to yourself, if you have put on weight or lost some fitness don’t beat yourself up about it.
  2. Start off slowly and build up your exercise and healthy eating gradually. Don’t try to do everything all at once.
  3. Praise yourself for your achievements, no matter how small, and minimise any negatives, its not the end of the world if you have a bar or chocolate, just get back on track.
  4. Drink more water.
  5. Go to bed before 10.30pm.
  6. Manage your thinking and don’t catastrophise about stuff.
  7. Practice being grateful every day.
  8. Find something new to challenge your mind and body.
  9. Don’t brood and overthink about things that you can’t change.
  10. Have FUN and laughter in your life.
