For soft and silky smooth skin, waxing can be used on most areas of the body including the arms, underarms, legs, bikini line, eyebrows, lip and chin area.
Waxing is a method of hair removal, which removes hair from the root, meaning it will take longer to grow again, usually 3-8 weeks, depending on the usual rate of hair growth. It also exfoliates the top layer of dead surface cells to leave your skin feeling soft and smooth.
When the hair does re-grow after waxing, it is usually noticeably finer and softer, rather than the coarse, harsh hair that grows back after shaving. When waxing is used as a regular method of hair removal, the re-growth will be much sparser and in some cases, the hair does not re-grow at all.
A thin layer of warm wax will be applied to the area being waxed; the therapist will cover the wax with a paper strip and then quickly remove the strip, taking the wax and unwanted hair away, leaving you hair-free and your skin silky-smooth!
